Feng Shui
For Gamblers
......If
anyone needs good Feng Shui luck, it has to be gamblers. Especially if you're a
serious gambler.
......So
here are a few tips gamblers can put to use straight away without too much
hassle. Even if you are a "social" gambler, who only visits the casinos on
occasion, many of these Feng Shui hints may prove useful.
- Ensure
that you carry along a small, red Ang Pow (Hung Pao) packet with Gold Coins
inside. This is said to signify a windfall gain similar to getting an
Ang Pow. These red packets are given out every Chinese New Year to the
smaller children. They are also often given out to newlywed couples.
Carrying the Ang Pow along with you is symbolic of the casino "giving" you
money for nothing(of course you'll have to win it from them).
- Face your
good direction while gambling. (You will need a compass for this) While
it may look a little odd when you are seen measuring each chair with a
compass to ensure that you are facing your Sheng Chi, you'll have the last
laugh at the table soon enough.
All you have to do is find out your Kua number based on the table below. If
all these calculations seem confusing (and trust me it can be) there is a
Kua Calculator at Dragon-Gate.com that you can use for free. Just Follow
this link :
http://www.dragon-gate.com/members/kuacalculator/index.asp .
| .Calculating
your Kua Number:
.Add
up the last two digits of your year of birth to arrive at a
.single
digit. e.g 1949;
......
......
- 4 + 9 = 13
......
......
- 1 + 3 = 4
.Males:
Minus this number from 10. (10 - 4 = 6)
.Females:
Add 5 to this number (5 + 4 = 9)
.Note:
when you arrive at a Kua number of 5, men will
.automatically
assume the directions of Kua 2 and females will
.assume
the Kua 8.
.*The
Chinese view the cut off date for a new year as being
.February
4th. So if you were born before the date use the
.previous
year to calculate your Kua number.
.E.g.
If you were born 30th January 1950. You would take your
.year
of birth as 1949 and calculate it accordingly.
|
Now just ensure that when you head off to your favorite poker table you take
along your compass. And ensure that the seat you sit in to play ensures you
sit facing your Sheng Chi.

If you are doing this at home, do exactly the same thing. Use a compass and
make sure you select a direction that faces your Sheng Chi before sitting
down to play.
-
Ensure
that your head points towards your Sheng Chi direction when you sleep.
This method is said to tap into your Sheng Chi energies even when you are
asleep. This way when you are ready to place that big bet you'll know that
you have got the best Feng Shui luck backing you up already. Even health
wise, you'll feel much better when you wake up after sleeping in this
direction.
-
Ensure
you wear a Pa Kua pendant when at the casino. When you are comfortably
seated at the casino tables you might feel a little uneasy. Almost as if
some people at the table are hoping you lose. Well you're absolutely right.
Of course the casino would have a few poison arrows (Sha Chi) directed at
you. Deflect them by wearing an eight-sided Pa Kua pendant if possible.
Ensure that the pendant is facing them and clearly visible.
- Wear
colors that empower or enhance your natural element. Colors when used
properly are said to contribute towards empowering your energies. Based on
your Kua number, you are said to be of a particular element. Example; anyone
who is a Kua 2 should wear more Earth tones as it is said to energize you
with positive energies. This of course translates into better luck when you
are at the gambling tables.
